About Us

Welcome to our online Compact Disc and DVD catalogue.

The Sales Office, a division of Broadsword International Limited, offers a wide range of Compact Disc and DVD titles which are all aimed at the low price or budget markets. We offer our products at very straightforward and competitive prices which will ensure that our customers achieve an excellent margin on their retail price.

Our exclusive labels are crammed with great music and DVD titles at great prices. Everything from the Jazz of Sid Phillips to Music for Relaxation, film titles from Peter Pan to the Golden Age of 1930’s and 40’s Cinema.

Our ordering procedure is very simple. Either let us supply our competitively priced, pre-selected ‘Mixed Boxes’ of best sellers (ideal for retailers new to stocking CD and DVD products), simply order online or download an order form and complete it as you browse through the various product sections. This can then either be emailed to us at sales@thesalesoffice.co.uk or faxed to us on 01280 822307.

Account facilities may be available and payment can also be made by credit/debit card if required. We do not operate a minimum order requirement, just order what you need. Placing an Order or Making an Enquiry

Placing an order or making an enquiry could not be easier. Just browse our Online Catalogue and select the quantity of each product you require from each page and put them into the shopping cart by clicking the button at the foot of the page. After you have finished your selection, click "Send Order / Enquiry" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your request.

Your online "receipt" and automated email are not an order acceptance, we will formally confirm you request by phone and agree any delivery details with you. If you are an existing account holder your order will be shipped at your usual prices and payment terms.

You can, if you wish, choose to pay for your order by credit or debit card. This element of the transaction will be carried out 'off-line' and your credit card receipt will be included with your shipment.

Please note: The Sales Office is a trading name of Broadsword International Limited - your credit card transaction will show "Broadsword International Limited" as the merchant.

Shipping and Handling

We'll despatch your order within 24 hours if we have the products you have selected in stock, we normally do. If a product is out of stock we will contact you to discuss the likely delivery time or an alternative product.

Purchases for delivery in the UK or mainland Europe are despatched by 'next day' courier and will normally be delivered to you the day after despatch. For other destinations, times may vary. When your order is despatched we will advise by telephone or email. Orders for dispatch to destinations outside of the UK are supplied on an ex-works basis and as such we will require the name of your nominated freight agent.

All goods are carefully packed and shipped as soon as they are available to fulfill your order.

UK Delivery

We do not operate a minimum order policy, you order what you want - no more, no less. We offer free freight on all orders over £200 ex. VAT in value, below this value we will charge £6.95 + VAT for delivery.

If you have any specific delivery instructions (ie: boxes only, no pallets) please let us know and we will do all we can to accommodate them.

Overseas Delivery

As previously mentioned, overseas orders are supplied on an ex-works basis. Our minimum order for overseas shipments is £200. European orders will have UK standard rate VAT added if a client is unable to supply a current VAT number. We will liaise with your nominated freight agent to ensure that your order is dispatched in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Back Orders

If any of your ordered items are not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed or called with details to ensure that you are kept up to date with the progress of your order.

Tax Charges

VAT at the current rate applies to all orders dispatched within the UK and will also be charged on any EU order where we do not have the customers VAT number.

Returns Policy

Your right to Cancel

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the product(s) you have bought from us, please return them to us in the original packaging and condition within 7 days of receipt.

Please also enclose a letter explaining why you wish to return the product(s), and we will refund you in full within 28 days of the receipt of your returned order.

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. For faulty items, the cost of returned postage will be refunded to you.

To return any products to us, please:

1. Make sure to tell us whether you want an Exchange or Refund.
2. We recommend that you obtain proof of posting since we cannot be responsible for packages lost in transit.
3. Pack the items safely, enclose the invoice and send it back to:
